10. ABNER CURTIS (1762–1839), son of Eli Curtis and Desire Turner

Abner Curtis died on 30 June 1839, age 77, and is buried in the Riverview Cemetery in Bucksport, Hancock county, Maine. [FAG1]

11. TAMSIN ATWOOD (1770–1848), daughter of Joseph Atwood and Susanna Smith

Tamsin Atwood died on 19 May 1848, age 77 years, ten months and 28 days and is buried in the Riverview Cemetery. [FAG2]

The inscription on Abner's grave says, "Mr. Abner Curtis who died June 30, 1839 in the 78th year of his age. Mr. Curtis was a decided and exemplary Christian, the first methodist that ever came to the state of Maine and for more than fifty years a class leader." [FAG1]

Children of Abner Curtis and Tamsin Atwood:

x. Elizabeth Curtis was born in 1798. She died on 8 February 1868. She married Reverand Cyrus Cummings.

x. Desire Curtis died on 13 February 1855 and is buried in the Back Ridge Cemetery in Orland, Hancock county, Maine. [FAG3] She maried Daniel Blaisdell. He died on 22 November 1864 and is buried in the Back Ridge Cemetery. [FAG4]

x. Abner Curtis died on 18 May 1867 in Riverview Cemetery. [FAG5]
